Christmas Drunk
For someone who merely met me twice and is able to point out my overwhelming ambitiousness at work as well as in life, which I really thought I kept this well to myself, she must be the first to say so. Her expression spoke a lot about how she used to be as ambitious as the current me, and this reflection made me contemplate of how I did not want to end my passion when reaching certain point of time.
"You're underachieved. I'm sure you can do more than just that," that rang the bell after finishing my third pints of beer. Meaning I was still relaxed, insisting on the perspective of work-life balance in such golden age when I could use that time to achieve something better? Right, to be penned down as new year resolution?
